the founder

Louisville cellist Anna Oldham is known for her passionate and energetic playing style. She has studied the instrument for over 15 years, earning her Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Louisville and Master of Music degree from DePaul University. Upon finishing her master's degree, Anna began teaching for the after-school program Sistema Ravinia ⁠— a Chicago-based music program that provides free classical music instruction in underserved communities. Her experience with Sistema Ravinia inspired Anna to begin her own after-school program, Upbeat Music, in her home community of Kentuckiana.
